Stan Portny
Stan Portny is an internationally recognized expert in project management and project leadership.  During the past 28 years, he has provided training and consultation to more than 100 public and private organizations in the fields of pharmaceuticals, insurance, information services, finance, telecommunications, consumer products, defense and health care.   He has developed and conducted training programs for over 25,000 management and staff personnel in sales and marketing, research and development, engineering, information systems, manufacturing operations and support areas.

Widely acclaimed for his dynamic presentation techniques and his unusual ability to establish a close rapport with seminar participants, Stan specialized in tailoring his courses to meet the special and unique needs of individual organizations.  Stan, a Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is the author of Project Management for Dummies , part of the widely acclaimed …For Dummies , series of business and professional books.

He received his B.S. E.E. degree summa cum laude from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and his M.S. E.E. and E.E. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he studied at the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management and the George Washington University National Law Center. Stan has been president of Stanley E. Portny and Associates, LLC for the past 23 years.

Dennis Foster
Dennis Foster is an independent Project Management Consultant and Teacher. He has more than twenty five years experience in effectively applying all areas of project management techniques. He has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies, throughout the world in effectively applying project management principles to opportunities in the areas of IT, Engineering Design Procurement and Construction, Mergers and Acquisitions, Organizational Change, Project Management Offices, and numerous project support functions. He has also worked with numerous educational institutions at the k-12, Baccalaureate, and graduate level to develop and deliver a variety courses and programs.

Dennis has broad experience both working as and managing organizations responsible for Project Management and Project Services. His project management assignments have taken him across the world from Europe to Asia and have included projects in excess of $300MM. His project support service experiences are many and varied and include large project control organizations, project management systems and tools, Project Portfolio Management Processes, Project Management Offices, and Project Manager development processes.

He received his Project Management Professional Certification in 2002. He holds a Project Management Certificate from American Graduate University and has earned an M.Ed. in Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University and an M.S.I.E degree from Lehigh University. He is a long-time member of the Project Management Institute.
