SCM Certificate Tuition

The 12 credit hour Supply Chain Management certificate program may be pursued for university credit as a non-degree student. The credits earned will be available on a Lehigh University transcript and the certificate earned will be noted on the transcript as well. The twelve credits earned may be applied towards the Lehigh University MBA degree program as elective course work upon full application and acceptance into the MBA program.

Non-degree students are not eligible for merit-based financial aid awarded through the College of Business and Economics, but are eligible for alternative education loans as outlined on the Office of Financial Aid website.

Admission Requirements:

1. A baccalaureate degree, in any major, with at least four years of study at the university level.
2. Professional work experience.
3. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required if you have not completed at least one year of study at a university in the U.S.

    You are encouraged to apply using Lehigh's online application system .
    1.  NEW USERS-create Log In ID (case sensitive) and a six digit PIN number.  Please retain your Log In ID and PIN so that you may return to the application later either to complete it or to view your application status once you have submitted it to Lehigh.
    2.  Choose application type " GRADUATE BUSINESS NON DEGREE ".
    3.  International applicants-check the International Application box.
    4.  Choose Term of Entry
    5. Retain your Log In ID and six digit PIN to access your application status once submitted.

    The online application system will also accept your resume.  In order to complete your online application, you must submit official transcripts directly to the Graduate Programs Office. Include a cover sheet with your documents listing your full application name, Date of Birth, and Log In ID.  The online application accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards for payment of the application fee of $20.

    If you can not apply using the online application, you may apply by submitting our paper application along with your check for $ USD 20.00 payable to Lehigh University. The application and instructions may be accessed here.

    The application fee may not be waived nor deferred.
  • Transcripts from all universities attended

    You must submit official transcripts from ALL universities attended. Official transcripts bear the signature of the university’s registrar and the seal of the issuing institution. The registrar’s office of your prior institution(s) will require written authorization for the release of your transcripts. Our sample transcript request form contains information that will be required by the registrar’s office. The transcripts must be submitted to us in a sealed envelope and may not be opened by you.

    International applicants, in general, must have 16 years of formal education, including four years at the university level, to be considered for admission to Lehigh's graduate programs. Applicants should submit official English translations in addition to credentials in the original language. If credentials do not record the awarding of the degree received, you must submit certified true copies of your diplomas. If credentials do not show the grading system used by the university, you must also submit a separate official statement from the university that gives this information. Several academic credential evaluation services are available to international students who can not provide the required international documentation. The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services® (NACES) lists a number of accredited evaluation services from which you may choose.
  • Resume

    Your professional resume should list your educational and professional information and your achievements. Include your computing skills. The online application will accept your resume in the “Additional Information” area. If you apply by paper, please include with your application.
  • TOEFL, if necessary (institution code #2365, department code 02)

    Applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language®(TOEFL). The Educational Testing Service® (ETS) has unveiled a new TOEFL test, the internet based TOEFL, or iBT TOEFL. The iBT TOEFL will be rolled out world-wide by the end of 2006. Until the roll out is complete, test-takers may continue to take the computer adaptive version (CAT) or the paper based version of the exam depending upon when and where it is taken. Any questions regarding the TOEFL test availability in your area should be directed to ETS.

    Your TOEFL score may not be older than 2 years at the time of your application to the program. The College of Business and Economics will continue to accept all versions of the TOEFL test as long as the scores come directly from the Educational Testing Service. Scores must be received directly from ETS to be considered official. Lehigh’s institution code number is 2365.

    Recommended scores for the three available versions:
    Paper Based TOEFL – 600
    Computer Based TOEFL (CAT) – 250
    Internet Based TOEFL (iBT) – 94

    College of Business and Economics graduate students currently average 628 paper based/263 CAT on the TOEFL exam.

    If you have completed a baccalaureate degree in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia or Canada, you may be exempt from the TOEFL.  You are not exempt if the language of instruction is English in a non-English speaking country or if you have lived in an English-speaking country for several years. Degree Status
Students may pursue the SCM certificate as their part of the Lehigh MBA course framework. The 12 credits earned will be applied to the elective course work required for the MBA degree. Please see Lehigh MBA admission requirements and application procedures.
