The MBA program at Lehigh offers seven areas of concentration. A concentration area does not need to be declared at the time of application to the program. Occasionally, new or experimental courses may be offered which may also be used toward a concentration. Students may choose only one concentration to be noted on their transcript.

Corporate Entrepreneurship

New venture creation is analyzed and dissected from the perspective of the established or developed company that is committed to building new commercial enterprises to grow and remain competitive. How an organization can enhance its capability to market, organize, execute, and invest in new ventures is a constantly recurring theme in Lehigh’s vSeries entrepreneurship concentration. The concentration consists of six required courses plus the completion of six additional credit hours for a total of 12 credit hours.

In the era of a growing competitive global economy, finance has become increasingly important and complex. This has led to an expansion of career opportunities within corporations, investment firms, and financial institutions worldwide. The finance concentration examines corporate financial management internally and externally through analysis of a company’s financial health, its effect on the stock market and the return on its investments.
The finance concentration requires the completion of twelve elective credit hours. You may follow a corporate, investment or general focus track.

As global markets expand, doing business internationally requires in-depth knowledge of foreign economies, customs and currencies. This concentration explores the broad issues associated with multi-national and international companies, including opportunity, risk, legal issues and marketing.
You must complete two required courses plus the completion of three additional credit hours for a total of 9 elective credit hours to earn the International Business concentration.

Supply Chain Management

Through in-depth study of an organization’s value chain, the Supply Chain Management concentration demonstrates how these activities are linked both internally and externally. In a creative, hands–on environment that uses case studies and industry experts, students explore the multiple factors that have impact on a company’s supply chain.
The Supply Chain Management concentration requires the completion of 9 credit hours of directed electives.
